The Route:
This hike crosses several iconic landscapes of inland Moorea, combining a pine forest, pineapple fields, and the Bounty plateau in one smooth and balanced experience.
The route begins in a forest area, at the heart of a surprising pine forest with a cool and peaceful atmosphere. The shaded and pleasant trail invites you to enjoy a gentle and progressive walk.
The hike then continues through the pineapple fields, where the landscape opens up and reveals a more agricultural side of the island. These cultivated areas offer a better understanding of the close relationship between the land, the terrain, and human activity in Moorea.
The route then leads to the Bounty plateau, the high point of the experience. From this plateau, the view stretches across a large part of the island: mountains, valleys, and open horizons create a striking panorama, ideal for a break and a moment of observation.
